Do You Attract What You Visualize?

It really comes down to the way you visualize. Do you visualize in the first person or the third person? One of these methods will give you everything you want while the other method will keep you wondering why visualization hasn't worked (yet).

Before I go there, let me explain what I mean by the 1st and 3rd person.

1st Person: this is visualization that occurs through your own eyes; the dream state.

3rd Person: this is visualization that occurs when you are a ghost or in a disassociated state.

When you look through your own eyes, you create the feeling of having the experience now. And when you feel the feelings, you're increasing your frequency of vibration. Increased vibration accelerates attraction. Or in other words, the higher the vibration the higher your "attracting" ability.

How do you change your vibration?

By changing your feelings. Here is a quick test to do exactly that.

Imagine yourself being on beach somewhere. You're looking through the eyes of the third person, or the ghost. Just watch yourself sitting on the beach in the sand. How does that feel?

This time you're going to make a slight change. Instead of being the third person, you're going to be the first person. You want to have the experience through your own eyes. Pay attention to the contrast and shades in the sky; the warm sun and the soft sand. How does that make you feel?

Remember that being in the dreamer state is the way to develop powerful feelings. Being the observer helps you distant yourself - or move away from experiencing your feelings.

If you don't generate feelings during the visualization then you're not getting into that higher vibration. And if you don't get the right vibration then you can't become an attractive magnet. Remember, that your subconscious mind responds the best to your emotions. When you get emotionally involved in an image, then you start the creative forces at work.

You see, your vibration is directly related to the way you feel. If you feel good, you're in a higher vibration. If you feel bad, you're in a lower vibration.

3rd Person Visualization

Visualizing as the observer has it's benefits too. Here are a few to consider:

* This frame of mind provides a new perspective when dealing with challenges. Sometimes you need to distant yourself before you can see the solution to a problem.

* When you distant yourself from a situation it can also remove negative feelings. And if you don't feel as bad, you can make more intelligent decisions.

* You can uncover blind spots by being the observer. Think of it this way. When you see the faults in others it's very obvious to you. You can't understand why others don't see this in themselves. Being the observer allows you to see how others see you. It might be all you need to uncover those areas that are unknown.

If you want to be skillful co-creator, both types of visualization are important. Become masterful at visualization so that you can intentionally create your life experience. - 14682

The Eye of the Tiger

Remember the theme song from the Rocky movie, "The Eye of the Tiger"?

When Rocky fought his opponent he had the focus of 'the eye of the tiger'. When that song was written they couldn't have had any idea the significance it would take on when a new Tiger took the world stage and changed sports forever.

I don't care if you are a golf fan or a sports fan or if you think there is too much hype over this one particular athlete-yes golfers are athletes.

Tiger Woods is a force to be reckoned with. I could write a book about not only his accomplishments in the sports world, but also his accomplishments as a human being, but many books have already been written. In fact I wrote about Tiger in my book, "Breakthrough to Success."

Look at what Tiger does in terms of how you live your life. Could you stand up to the level of excellence that Tiger requires of himself? If you raised your expectations, do you think you would be performing head and shoulders above your competition?

I've always been a huge fan of his because not only is he a consummate professional, he has such intense focus that you can see it on his face when you watch him on TV. I have also had the pleasure of standing just a few feet from him on more than one occasion and watching that focus in person.

Over and over again I heard the announcers at the tournament talking about how nobody would believe this if it was a movie. It would just be too much of a fantasy and the whoever wrote a screenplay that played out like this would be laughed out of a movie mogul's office. I don't know if I've ever seen a movie or a sporting event with this many interesting characters and twists and turns.

Tiger is larger than life and his life is richer, more nuanced, and more interesting than any movie script. And this weekend he was Rocky, but he wasn't fighting an opponent, he was doing what his dad had taught him. He was playing full out because that's the only way to do it.

There were so many amazing shots from this one tournament. You can probably find them all on Youtube. But it's not about the shots. It's about the measure of the man. During the tournament some of his fellow golfers, who should feel really ashamed of themselves right now, wondered out loud through their pettiness and jealousy how hurt Tiger really was.

Tiger on the other hand downplayed his injury to not take the focus off the Open while he played through incredible pain that would have made almost any other player call it quits, especially when he was so far back that it didn't look like he had any chance at all of winning.

And yet, Tiger not only didn't quit, he forced a playoff and played another 19 holes on Monday. And then he made the impossible inevitable by winning...again!

Watching him play in the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines for 4 days instead of the usual 3 was a treat and at the same time painful. My heart ached every time I saw him wince when he hit the ball or when his caddy pulled him up by the arm when he couldn't get up by himself or when the pain of taking another stroke had him almost doubled over in pain.

And I wondered how he could keep going, where did he find the inner strength to focus enough to pull it out day after day?

Ironically during the tournament there was a commercial running with audio of his dad talking about how Tiger would never meet anyone else as mentally tough as him in his entire life.

He certainly proved his dad right that weekend. I'm sorry I won't be seeing him play the rest of the summer, but I know he'll be back next year better than ever because striving for excellence is just his natural way of being.

What Part Does Planning And Goal Setting Play In Study Success?

No great accomplishment has ever been achieved without planning. When Sir Edmund Hillary conquered Mount Everest, he wasn't out for a stroll and all of a sudden found himself at the summit! To make a change to your life you have to plan to make the change or it won't happen.

Before you embark on your studies, you'll find it valuable to set yourself a series of goals or targets to help you complete the course. Spending a little time planning these goals will pay dividends down the road. To have a chance of reaching your goals, they should always be S.M.A.R.T. - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Targeted.

Make a personal contract based on the following 5 D's to immerse yourself in the positive outcome of your studies. This contract should be written down, and signed.

DEFINE (what you want out of it) e.g. the exact car, house, number and type of holidays, income level for partner to give up work etc. Be specific or you won't know when you've achieved it. Re-enforce it with photographs and put them up around where you plan to work.

DESIRE is what stirs us deep down. Think about why you've decided to take this course, and why it's important to you. The more emotionally involved you get with your desire, the more you'll stick with it. Pin point whether it's the job, the status, the challenge, or the control etc. that drives you.

Commitment or DEDICATION. Announce to yourself and those close to you that you're dedicated to your studies by writing up a timetable and sticking with it. However much time you choose to study each week, have it written on a calendar planner that you can cross off once you've completed it. Put it in a prominent place so it's at the forefront of your mind (at least until it becomes a habit). All things that are important get prioritised, so let your friends and family know that this is a priority to you for perhaps ten hours a week for a set number of months. Once your timetable has become established, you'll take pride in your dedication, and study all the better for it.

DETERMINATION. Having a contract with yourself will make you more determined to stick with the programme. You're the one who will lose out most if you give up on yourself.

DISCIPLINE (to overcome the hard times) - The resolve to work around challenges and not allow them to stop you achieving your goals.

Your contract is a working document designed to assist and strengthen you through the change in your life. Keep it close by, and take time to look at it regularly. Add inspiring thoughts and ideas to it that will keep you on track and spur you on. The more emotionally involved you get with the results of completing your course, the sooner you'll get through it. Expectation of good things, along with planning and goal-setting, have proven time after time to bring the desired results to fruition. - 14682

The Metaphysics of the Law of Attraction

My friend Dr. Bil Holton, Unity minister, has written a metaphysical interpretation of the Bible which gives specific examples of how the Law of Attraction works. Some Benefits Of Massage

Is it a waste of money to have a massage? Are you just paying to have your back rubbed? Massage is far more than that and although the benefits are varied, whichever type of massage you opt for the results are similar. Sports and muscle injuries may benefit from a specific types of massage, such as a Swedish massage.

Well, what are these benefits? and is a massage worth the money? Although massage therapy was used for thousands of years by the Greeks, Egyptians, Romans and Chinese as part of their healing tradition, in the Western world it is fairly new. This therapy has only been used for a couple of hundred years in Europe, and for the majority of that time was only available to wealthy people.

In traditional healing, medicines would have been given, as well as advise on diet and exercise, and often massage with oils was also reccommended. Sometimes massage was given as a stand alone therapy and a variety of oils would have been prescribed.

There are many different types of massage therapy used in the West, and new ones are sometimes developed which are then incorporated into use. The art of massage is evolving all of the time, scientists keep finding more and more benefits, and so this therapy has gradually become incorporated into main stream medicine.

Massage is great for relaxing you, but it does far more than that, the benefits can be felt throughout the whole body. Each different type of massage will bring its own unique benefits, and all of the different types will give some benefits that are common to all of them.

It is important to get used to listening to your body, we are all individuals and are changing all of the time. Maybe you have tried massage and thought that it was ok but didn't find any real benefit, then maybe it was the wrong type of massage for you at the moment.

If you are a fan of meditation then you know how to relax, for most of us relaxation is a big problem. Although our ancestors led stressful lives, their stress was in short bursts and not for the prolonged length of time that we in the modern world live with. Maybe you wake up stressed and go to bed stressed, and spend all of the time inbetween rushing around trying to get things done.

Today's stressful world causes you a great deal of harm, there is a hectic pace of life, where you may feel you must be doing something all the time, this takes a toll on you both mentally and physically. You may often feel exhausted, but feel you have to carry on for fear of loosing your job to someone else.

Environmental pollution in the air, and chemicals in your food puts toxins into your body, putting even greater strain on your body. Fortunately, a good massage works to help the body get rid of toxins and allows the body to relax, taking tension out of the tight muscles.

On the physical level a good massage will leave you feeling invigorated, when you have finished your massage you may feel as if you are walking on air.

When there is a build of of toxins in the body the excess is placed into cells to stop the toxins from harming the body. Problems arise when the cells themselves cannot function properly due to an overload of toxins, health problems then start to develop. When you have a massage there is an increase in your blood and lymphatic circulation, this in turn helps the body to excrete any toxins so the cells do not get to the point of overload.

When you have a massage there is a lot of physical manipulation of the muscles, this can reduce stiffness, release tension and increase mobility. Due to the nature of this physical manipulation, massage is very good as part of your regular exercise regimine, as it can help in the prevention of muscle injury.

Many scientific studies confirm that massage therapy can:

Reduce heart rate.

Lower blood pressure (if high).

Increase blood circulation and lymphatic flow.

Relax stiffened and tense muscles while stimulating weak and inactive muscles to compensate for lack of movement due to an illness or an injury.

Increases endorphins.

There is a reduction in anxiety and tension.

There is still a lot of research needed to find out what else can be helped by massage therapy and over the years this list will grow even bigger.

The type of treatment offered by skilled masseur combines healing techniques which will work with the natural healing powers of your body to bring about wholeness to your mind, body and spirit.

Of course, it is recommended that anyone with any severe condition or chronic pain should consult with a licensed medical professional before embarking on a massage. Also any well trained massage therapist will be able to tell you if it is wise for you to have a massage or not. - 14682
