What is Neuro-linguistic Programming and how can it Improve Your Life?

NLP is short for Neuro-Linguistic Programming the 'Neuro' acknowledges the fact that we process information about the world neurologically, using the brain and the nervous system, through our five senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. NLP is not really a thing as much as it is a collection of beliefs, and the processes and products of that collection of beliefs. It is a modeling process and although self-improvement books and tapes are great, someone who has studied NLP can probably benefit even more than someone who has never experienced the training. Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the gathering of information to make models, based on the internal experience and information processing of the people being studied and modeled, including the part that is outside of their conscious awareness.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a method, a set of techniques, or personal development system first developed in the early 1970s by Richard Bandler and linguist John Grinder in association with Gregory Bateson. Techniques taught might include things such as how to communicate more clearly with other people, how to gain a better understanding into people’s motivations, and how to change some key aspect of one's own personality. By changing ones outlook, using a variety of techniques, a person can improve their attitudes and actions. NLP embodies many techniques, including hypnotic techniques, which proponents claim can affect changes in the way people think, learn and communicate. In 2005, celebrity hypnotist and television personality Paul McKenna was shown applying neuro-linguistic programming and other techniques on his Sky One show, 'I Can Change Your Life' to assist people with phobias, such as agoraphobia and addictions to gambling and shopping. In 2006, another Sky One program, 'I Can Make You Thin', featured Richard Bandler and used NLP among other techniques to help people lose weight. Cases such as Attention Deficiency Disorder (ADD), Learning Deficiency (LD), hyper active children and the like can be relieved by use of NLP techniques. People who are in creative fields such as writing, acting and the like can be helped to improve their creative ability through NLP techniques. In other words, NLP techniques add choice back to your life… You'd like to be the author of your own life, wouldn't you?

Modeling is the core function of NLP. Learning to model (self and others) is the core activity of NLP practitioners and NLP master practitioner certification trainings. Modeling is the key to creating an innovative and unique approach to business and life, enabling you to consistently achieve the results you want. In its simplest form Modeling involves copying a set of behaviors, beliefs and values from a ‘model’ of excellence, installing it within another person who then replicates and achieves the same outcome. Modeling is being able to extrapolate what someone does well and strip away the rest. It’s a way of learning in which we attempt to duplicate another person's results by duplicating their mental and physical behaviors. Modeling skills, based on detailed observations and careful questions around beliefs and values, are the key to competence in NLP. Learning the specific components of how others do something well will provide you with new options and accelerated learning.

NLP is controversial, particularly for use in therapy and, after more than three decades of existence, has not been validated in terms of psychological science. Neuro Linguistic Programming is a rather cumbersome name for an approach which is straightforward: The “neuro” referring to our neurological processes (how we take information in though our senses, the thoughts involved and the feelings) the “linguistic” to the language we use to consciously think with, to communicate with, “programming” to ways that we can choose to behave. Developed in the USA it has mainly been used to improve people’s perceptions of themselves thereby allowing them to ‘fulfill their natural potential’.

Past Life Regression it's as safe as Meditation

Past life regression is an exciting trip into your own past lives, unlocking doors in your mind that open other worlds, worlds that were yours in another time. It is a process whereby you are guided into hypnosis and then encouraged to explore the details of a particular life or number of lives and is conducted in a light trance state similar to that of meditation or the state just before sleep so they are commonly offered, but not exclusively, by individuals trained in hypnotherapy. Past life regression is a term coined in the West that describes any type of method used to help us "see" and "understand" our past lives. It is also possible without hypnosis. When done correctly, past life regression is a wonderful tool that can shed light on seemingly unsolvable problems and help overcome blocks. The best way to know what past life regression is like is to experience it yourself.

For centuries the advanced religions of the east and the writings and teachings of innumerable spiritual masters have taught that the patterns of suffering or fortune we experience are the direct result of the "karma" (good or evil deeds) we have accumulated in past lives. Past life regression is typically experienced by relaxing the body and conscious mind so that you can access the subconscious (memories, present and past lives) and super conscious (all that is). Some relax so deeply that they speak in different languages (this is very rare, however), and some can't relax, detach from their monkey-mind or suspend apprehension or skepticism enough to experience much of anything. Since you cannot bring forth physical evidence of reincarnation through past life regression, those who experience regression don't know for sure that it's real. A session may include other experiences in addition to visiting a past-life, such as a regression to the past of this life, etheric plane communication, inner guide work, and/or life between lives work. Clients and hypnotherapists have been amazed at the experiences arising in past life regression. Since the lives that do come to the surface are very pertinent to the challenges, talents, situations, companions and such that you have in this life, it is worthwhile to really pay attention to your experience.

Unfortunately, in the frequently heated debate about whether past lives are "real", there is one question that is rarely asked: Is PLR as effective in helping people to solve their everyday problems and improve their lives as other short-term interventions? When done correctly, past life regression is a wonderful tool that can shed light on seemingly unsolvable problems and help overcome blocks. You will be led through the various key incidents of that lifetime, focusing on unresolved emotions, problems and conflicts. During a past life regression you will travel back in time to gain the learning and insights from previous incarnations, and use this understanding to solve present day problems. Past life regression therapy can:

* Solve problems that conventional therapy has failed solve
* Eliminate irrational fears and phobias
* Identify and change destructive patterns
* Gain insights into your own mind, behavior and how you relate to others
* Identify your life purpose and karmic destiny
* Learn about your role in your relationships with loved ones
* Find out who you were before
* Find out if you have known your loved ones in previous lives and how you were related

Although past life regression may not solve all of your problems, if you go into past life regression therapy with an open mind you can come out with more clarity and a better understanding of your life purpose. This will enable you to understand the reasons for many of the problems that you are experiencing in this present lifetime. These could include chronic illness, relationship problems, continuing financial struggles, and many other painful personal challenges that just don't go away. These illustrations often appear to be scenes "explaining" the cause of current problems that do not seem to have any other explanation.

Past Life Regression is not to be considered 'therapy' as that is left to medical and psychological professionals. Past Life Regression is an extremely powerful and dynamic way to go within and connect with your inner knowing to make positive changes in your modern day life. It is a powerful tool to assess the deepest memory at an unconscious level and is one of the most fascinating areas of unexplained human phenomena.

Would you like to experience Past Life Regression Yourself?

Hypnosis is Gaining Respect is it a Viable Option for You?

Hypnosis is not something imposed on people, but something they do for themselves. It is a highly focused state of attention in which one is able to access a wealth of unconscious resources for self-growth and change. Hypnosis is a state of mind characterized by an extreme concentration of attention and is a normal state of mind, one which most people go in and out of every day. Finally, hypnosis is a state of mind characterized by relaxed brain waves and a state of hyper-suggestibility.

When you experience the wonderful sensation of being gently directed how to use your mind and to create an incredible state of internal calm, you will learn just what hypnosis is, and why you can do it.

In clinical situations, some people exit from the hypnotic experience astonished to have felt a state of mind so vastly different from their normal waking state, where others talk as if nothing unusual had happened. In the former case, the vivid impact of the experience will serve to facilitate further hypnotic work through the subject's conviction that some tangible phenomenon has indeed taken place.

During the deeper stages of hypnotic experience, participants may be asked to talk about or to notice how they feel. A slowing of the breathing rate can be observed in individuals within the deeper dimensions of the hypnotic experience. Descriptions of the subjective experience of the hypnotic trance often include alterations in the perception of time flow and sensations of relative removal from the ties connecting the individual to reality.

The meditative trance is similar in quality to the self-hypnotic experience. The experience of how the body feels during the normal waking state is often changed during hypnosis. For example, a chronically depressed patient at age 54 could not recall any instance during his life when he experienced such feelings of happiness. The ability to experience feelings of joy and freedom become progressively easier, and gradually start to integrate into your everyday life, coloring your existence with more joyfulness.

Hypnotists use rhythmic words or stories called a hypnotic induction, to focus your attention and concentration so you will go into that natural, normal hypnotic state.

Crazy news stories, stage hypnotists and gossip have led many people to believe that when you are in hypnosis, you are under someone else's control. Many people base their assumptions about hypnotism on stage acts but fail to take into account that stage hypnotists screen their volunteers to select those who are cooperative, with possible exhibitionist tendencies, as well as responsive to hypnosis.

We know that hypnotic subjects are not turned into zombies and are not controlled by their hypnotists. The subjects of clinical hypnotists are usually people with problems who have heard that hypnotherapy works for relieving pain or overcoming an addiction or a fear, etc.

The hypnotherapist may communicate with one part of the subject's self, then with another, but there remains an interpersonal bridge, regardless of the clinical approach of the hypnotist, which may be very permissive, choice-giving, and open-ended in the manner that suggestions are presented. In hypnosis, the patient is not under the control of the hypnotist. A hypnotist simply serves as a facilitator to guide them.

Hypnosis is a process involving a hypnotist and a subject who agrees to be hypnotized. Hypnosis is merely a state of relaxation and heightened mental alertness that helps people easily achieve their amazing goals. Many of the misconceptions people have about what hypnosis is or what happens during hypnosis are result of it being portrayed unfairly by Hollywood and television.

'The Secret' combines spiritual movements, pop psychology

The book and DVD state that your dreams can come true if you unlock the power of your mind.

McClatchy Newspapers

Did you know?

You can change anything in your life.

Your life is in your hands.

The universe will rearrange itself to give you whatever you want.

If this sounds like magic, you haven't read or seen "The Secret," the best-selling book and DVD by Australian TV producer Rhonda Byrne that promises to reveal the "Great Secret" that "has been passed down through the ages, highly coveted, hidden, lost, stolen and bought for vast sums of money."

More than 5 million copies of the book are in print.

"The Secret" is the law of attraction, Byrne says:

"The law of attraction says like attracts like. ... The law of attraction is giving you what you are thinking about – period!"

The secret potion is a mixture of several spiritual movements, including a large dose of New Thought, a healthy part of Positive Thinking and a generous sprinkling of Prosperity Gospel. And with a few additives from psychology, philosophy and science – shazam! – you have "The Secret"!

New Thought, which early on was known as mental science, says thought is an energy of the mind that can create tangible results in the world, said Robert Fuller, religious studies professor at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

New Thought has many fathers, mothers and forerunners, including author Ralph Waldo Emerson; mental healer Phineas P. Quimby; Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science; and Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, founders of Unity.

Charles Fillmore described it as "a mental system that holds man as being one with God (good) through the power of constructive thinking."

Orison Swett Marden, a prolific writer of self-help books in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, stated, "Our thoughts and imagination are the only real limits to our possibilities."

His books "all talked about how to get what you want," Fuller said. "It is magical thinking to believe that our thought alone is really a force that goes out. It implies that you are responsible for everything in your life."

Wallace Wattles, whose 1910 book "The Science of Getting Rich" sparked Byrne's quest, also is out of the New Thought movement.

"What they share in common are techniques thought to reveal the secrets of the mind, ways to unlock the depths of the human mind that is believed to be connected with powerful, spiritual energies," said Fuller, who has spent years studying these movements.

Mental healing had convinced members of the movement that invisible energy can obtain physical benefits, Fuller said.

"The energy was believed to come from God, and it was further believed that our thoughts controlled the direction of this energy," Fuller said. "'The Secret' picks this up."

"The Secret" also picks up a basic principle of Unity called the law of mind-action.

"We believe that people can attract positive or negative experiences into their lives by what they think about," said Paula Coppel, vice president of communications for Unity. "How we view things and how we choose to respond to them shape our lives.

"So if you are a positive person, you will see more good around you and attract more good into your life, and the opposite is true."

But there is a key difference between Unity and "The Secret," Coppel said: "Unity is positive, practical Christianity. Our focus is not on manifesting and attracting material things but on aligning ourselves with God.

"We say, 'Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all other things will be added unto you.'"

New Thought ideas flowed into mainstream Protestantism, developing into Positive Thinking.

Its most well-known advocate was Norman Vincent Peale, who in 1952 wrote the wildly popular "Power of Positive Thinking."

"Peale took the New Thought ideas and tied them to liberal Protestantism, keeping what was recognizably Christian," said J. Gordon Melton, founder and director of the Institute for the Study of American Religion.

"The message changed the Gospel a little bit," he said. "For instance, there's not a great virtue in humility. But there was still a lot of room for most Christian virtues like being loving and kind and honesty and still believing in salvation in Christ."

Peale wrote: "Through prayer you ... make use of the great factor within yourself, the deep subconscious mind ... (which Jesus called) the kingdom of God within you. ... Positive thinking is just another term for faith."

He also wrote, "Your unconscious mind ... (has a) power that turns wishes into realities when the wishes are strong enough."

Robert H. Schuller, who built the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove and a multimillion-dollar television ministry, drew from Peale's positive thinking to develop "possibility thinking." These similar ideas are evident in "The Secret."

Among Schuller's many books are "Self-Love," "You Can Be the Person You Want to Be" and "Living Positively One Day at a Time."

He has said, "The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking."

Many of "The Secret's" teachers are motivational speakers.

One is Jack Canfield of "Chicken Soup for the Soul" fame, who says:

"Since I learned 'The Secret' and started applying it to my life, my life has truly become magical." And: "Decide what you want. Believe you can have it. Believe you deserve it, and believe it's possible for you."

Another one, James Ray, who speaks on wealth, success and human potential, says: "If you think about Aladdin and his lamp, Aladdin picks up the lamp, dusts it off and out pops the Genie. The Genie always says one thing: 'Your wish is my command.'"

He then says that the Genie is the universe; traditions have called the universe many things, "and you choose the one that works best for you, but every tradition has told us there's something bigger than us."

Revealing The Missing Keys to Manifesting All Your Desires

Enoch Tan, a mind researcher on consciousness and universal
science has released a new and revolutionary Ebook called

(PRWEB) June 6, 2007 -- Enoch Tan, a mind researcher on consciousness
and universal science has released a new and revolutionary Ebook called
"Manifestation Keys - Secrets To Manifesting All Your Desires!" This
Ebook is specially designed to teach you the deeper secrets of the law
of attraction which was popularized in the movie "The Secret" by Rhonda
Byrne. The Ebook is now available at

According to Tan, there are many hidden distinctions behind the law
that has not been mentioned. People have only been given a surface
introduction to how the manifestation process works. That is why some
succeed with it while others still struggle with getting to make it
work properly for them.

The Missing Keys behind the law of attraction and the secret of
manifesting all your desires can be found here:

A few of the most important keys that this book reveals are:

1. Why having anything comes from a place of being. Most people think
that they need to have a particular thing in order to be a particular
person. But the truth is that everything that a person has is an
expression of their being. In order to have wealth, you first have to
be a person who has a self identity of wealth. Which means you have to
identify as a person who naturally has the thing as part of his/her
identity. This is the secret of natural having.

Most people struggle with getting what they want because they do it the
unnatural way by trying to have in order to be. The correct order is
always natural.

2. The most important element of utilizing the law of attraction is the
emotional state that you place yourself in most of the time. Those who
watched "The Secret" know that emotion is energy in motion, and energy
attracts like energy. Therefore positive emotion attracts positive
conditions in life while negative emotion attracts the opposite. But
where most people have a problem in is that they can't seem to
intentionally place themselves in positive emotional states.

The book teaches you awareness of your emotions in every moment and how
to change them intentionally so that you create the reality that is
positive for you.

3. There is another highly crucial law that is complimentary to the law
of attraction. It is called the law of detachment. Focusing on your
intentions and desires all the time can be counter-effective. This is
because all our reality creation is done through the power of the
subconscious mind and not the conscious mind. The conscious mind only
commands, but it is the subconscious mind that carries out the work of

Learning about the law of detachment in the book teaches you how to let
go of your intentions so that they can manifest in divine timing and
divine order.

These missing keys as well as several others are explained in detail in
the book that is made available at:

Enoch Tan created this ebook because he wants to help others raise
their consciousness to higher levels so that more people will be able
to create their realities better. He believes that this reality that we
live in is co-created by the collective consciousness of living beings.
The external world that we experience is a reflection of the internal
world of our thoughts and emotions. Therefore by changing the internal
world, the external world will change correspondingly.

Enoch Tan is also willing to pay 100% commissions to anyone who helps
promote this book to others so as to enhance their consciousness and
reality creation abilities.

One Million Children Fed Using the Power of the Internet, Success Principles and the Law of Attraction

One million children will be fed from the funds raised in less than 4 days, at the World Internet Mega Summit held recently in Singapore, by Stephen Pierce and his team. This goes to prove the power of the internet in the ability to raise money for an altruistic cause. Stephen Pierce rose from rags to riches and is now a success business owner and internet marketer owning millions. His story, success principles and that of Bob Proctor's similar rags to riches story are highlighted in a recent report released at In addition to a compelling reason, a strong desire, vision and focused action, working for a higher and altruistic cause is a common element for lasting success and realized in most success stories today.

(PRWEB) June 2, 2007 -- Stephen Pierce and his team recently raised more than $100,000 USD to feed One Million Children from the Feed the Children Fund. This mega fund raising event was part of the World Internet Mega Summit recently held in Singapore from 26- 29th May 2007. The challenge was to raise enough money to feed one million children within 4 days using only the power of the internet. This deadline was met in less than 78 hours. At the time of this press release, donations are still accepted at This call to action was met with resounding success using the power of the internet, a firm belief to an unwavering cause and the power of teamwork and the human appeal for a worthy cause.

The story of Stephen Pierce is that of a modern fairy tale. His story reeks of seemingly impossible possibilities and he described how he went from a homeless, bankrupt high school drop out to now owning a 4.3 acre million dollar estate and making millions of dollars every year. His life experienced a turnaround and he applied the principles of a firm unwavering belief and focused action towards the life of his dreams. He recently created a report with Bob Proctor at on his proven three step plan he uses for attracting and experiencing exactly what he wants in life. He also includes a critical missing piece to realizing powerful positive results from the universal law of attraction in your life. In addition, he gives tips on how to tweak your brain so you have an unwavering focus on exactly what you want... and what to do next to make sure you get it.

Success stories of many multi millionaires around the world seem have equally dramatic and amazing turnarounds. A similar thread seems to run in the life of Bob Proctor of "You were Born Rich" fame. He recently created the Science of Getting Rich Program at with Jack Canfield, designed to take you on a detailed step by step plan on getting from where you are to a life of riches and wealth. He was also a featured speaker in the movie and book " The Secret," directed by Rhonda Byrne and currently still circulating like wildfire around the globe.

The basis of success is a strong enough reason to take action, and deep compelling desire. Coupled with an unwavering belief, vision and focused action, the success formula will prove itself again in paving the way for the law of attraction to work. At the heart of lasting success, as many who have gone on that journey will attest, is the human touch, the altruistic call, the higher cause and a willing service beyond oneself that will make success all that more sweeter, useful, compelling and worthwhile.

Law of Attraction News
June 3, 2007

I'm back again with some powerful info!

Well, before I share today's tip, I have to tell you this joke I
heard. Got a good chuckle out of it!

Frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from
her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.

"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday."

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog
says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that
it's okay, he knows the bank manager.

Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some

The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain
elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the
bank manager and disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit
Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow
$30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral."

She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what in the world is

(you're gonna love this)

(its a real treat)

(a masterpiece)

(wait for it)

The bank manager looks back at her and says...

"It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old
man's a Rolling Stone."

(You're singing it, aren't you? Yeah, I know you are........)

Never take life too seriously! Come on now, you grinned, I know you

Okay, now onto the real meat of this message!

Make it a habit to do something everyday that moves you closer to
what it is you want. Take action every single day. Just like
visualizing what you want, after a few days it will become a habit.
And the more you make it a habit, the more you will want to do it.
As you begin to see results from your actions, and the more you get
closer to what you want, the more it will become an addiction to go
after what you want. Take action now, and in a very short time you
will be amazed at how easy it is to get what you want, and keep
taking those steps toward bigger and better things.

Have a lovely day,
We appreciate you!
